I have been a student of Nature for over 45 years. I have been photographing for over 35 years. I am a Master Naturalist and a Certified Interpretive Guide.

I am also a Nature Journaler and often leave the camera at home to saunter outdoors and bear witness to my encounters and observations. I find this much more enjoyable these days-- allows for more presence and attention.

I have numerous publication credits, exhibits, etc.

I teach Nature Photography classes and workshops, provide fine art photography for home/business decor. and provide informative and educational workshops on nature-related topics.

I published my first book in May 2011 titled, Dancing With Herons: Bearing Witness to Local Natural History.

I have traveled throughout the U.S. but prefer to document the beautiful natural history of my local county.
