Hi, I'm Matthew Jones from Callala Bay on the south coast of NSW. I have been bird watching since 1985 (or thereabouts) and interested in photography since even before that (memory is failing with the details).

In 2006 I went digital and have been slowly building an Australian bird catalogue. I upped the tempo recently with the purchase of some big glass, Sigma 300-800 mm f/5.6 and a Nikon D4 camera. I consider myself a photo enthusiast and am here to enjoy the learning as I continue my passion to photograph birds and share images.
