I was born in San Antonio, Texas, October of 1967. Four years later I moved with my family to Louisiana. I loved the outdoors from an early age. Photography became my way of sharing what I saw with others while exploring the woods and wetlands near my home.

I've been an artist in one form or another from the time I was old enough to hold a crayon and a full time photographer for more than half my life. I can't imagine doing anything else. I started my career as a documentary photographer over 25 years ago, capturing the beauty and diversity of the South for various publications.

I've been a regular contributor to Louisiana Life and New Orleans Magazines. My corporate, commercial and editorial client list includes: Southwest Airlines, Kodak, The National Geographic Society, Louisiana Conservationist, Frommer's Budget Travel, Scholastic Publishing, Reader's Digest, and Off The Beaten Path travel guides just to name a few.
