Hmmm...
Hard to describe ourself. I'm kinda young...I look kinda young... I'm working in the television et film industry as an editor. I'm also an editing instructor... I love to write, read, watch movies, sleep and... drink coffee ;)
I've been interrested by photography since I'm eighteen... I just can't tell why because we were already in a age were digital picture was already the great hit and I was not really interrested by anything. I got a little photo class at school, but I did not fall in love with the medium. This was a year later, when I've drop school, I've discovered that I was actually infected... :)
Now, for me, the picture is almost everything. I love fashion photography, cinematography, advertising, almost everything. I spend a lot of time just looking at pictures here in Flickr or at the library. I'm an addicted...
I am rediscovering the medium with the rangefinder system. I was really not sure when I've buyed my Leica... but ...after some time... I really fall in love with this baby. I've still not mastered the technique yet, but I've got the willpower... :)
Before that, my favorite weapon was a "old" Bronica ETRsi. It's not the best MF camera around...But, I can't tell you why, I'm addicted to this camera. I've had to tweak some parts and repair some others to make it works the way I wanted it to works... Even after buying my Leica, this beauty still have a place in my heart.
Hum... I could say that the way I am taking my picture is very candid.... Even with a model. It's often my collaboration with my subject that give the shot actually. I like to take picture of what I see without much direction. She take a pose; I frame like this. I say a word or two, ask to look there or give a theme; that's all. It's the same thing when I wandering in Montreal to take some street shots.
