If you're here, you probably know me and my story, so I won't bore you with the details.

Besides, many of them are now classified.... ; )

I was interested in photography from a young age- I "liberated" my parent's Kodak Instamatic as a toddler and took some very "interesting" pictures of various things around the house, including an upside-down shot of our kitchen taken while I hung upside down from a dining room chair-- what can I say? I wanted to know if the photo would be upside down or right-side-up! SInce that first curious misadventure, I was a dedicated shutterbug and ever since, enjoyed seeing the world through a camera lens, either still or moving.

Aside from taking photography class in high school, I have no other formal training besides art lessons as a kid and my undergraduate work in T.V. and filmmaking, so you might say I'm a seasoned amateur or a veteran novice.

Most of what you'll find here are my "touristy" vacation shots, photos of my dog and the like- not my serious or artistic photography or shots from my many and varied work travels, which I don't generally post here, sorry. : (

I don't really adjust or use Photoshop much for these types of photos- I prefer to capture the moment; blemishes, mistakes and happy accidents, as it was at the time.
