I live in the Bay Area in Northern California, USA.

I am not a professional protographer but I do love and enjoy taking photographs that are appealing to my eyes and share them with friends and family. I enjoy looking at other members' photographs here on Flickr and learn so much from them!

A couple of years ago, I joined flickr but I didn't start posting until about a year later. Main reason was, I didn't think that my photos were fit to public viewing. After a few months of commenting on others' photos, I finally got the nerve of posting a couple of mine.

I have always been interested in photography since I was young but I found it such a very expensive hobby. Then,a couple of decades ago, I went back to college and found myself needing some credits to graduate. My sister, who is a photojournalist, gave me one of her older cameras to use and I decided to take a class in photography. I loved it so much that I ended up taking it for a couple of semesters that included doing some special projects with the professor.

Thanks to all of you and to flickr, I have rediscovered my love of photography. After seeing all of your beautiful works, I know I have a long way to go. I have so much to learn, but isn't that what life is all about!?

This is in loving memory of my Mother who lost her battle with breast cancer on November 15, 2012. She was a SURVIVOR for more than 25 YEARS!

I LOVE YOU FOREVER, MAMA!

Life is like a camera:

focus on what's important,

capture the good times,

develop from the negatives

and if things don't work out,

just take another shot!
