I've got a unique perspective on life... sort of a "permanent bird's eye view", granted by my being very, very tall. But I love to dive into the minute details of things and capture the microcosms that hide from the casual passerby, whether these be tucked in a tree, or in the folds of a "common flower".

One day, I'll get a proper camera with a macro lens... but for now, I've got a lovely little Panasonic that does the job, and does it well.

Lucky for me, my home in the Blue Ridge Mountains near Asheville is full of sights to see, so I travel equipped with camera, and rarely have a trip without a good shot or two.
