Based primarily in the Northwest, although originally from Worcestershire in the Midlands I live in Blacon, Chester and work in Newton Le Willows just outside of Warrington.

Having recently rediscovered photography as something to do on those occasional dull evenings (plenty of those, being in the UK!) and weekends when you've done everything you intended to do, and where nothing seems like a rewarding use of time, I have of course found flickr to be a fantastic tool that generates enthusiasm and encouragement all on its own - or at least with a relatively small amount of input!

The vast majority of my pictures are straight out of the camera and "unedited", though post processing and editing photos is something i intend to put time into understanding. I do occasionally use flickr's built in editor (picnik?) to adjust the shots that really need it / really benefit from it, but thats about the extent of my editing skills at the moment!
