I haven't had the luck to meet Jolie in person, but I'm delighted to have become her friend on Flickr. She truly represents everything Flickr should be about. To begin with, she's a talented photographer with an eye for unusual perspectives and vibrant color. Even better, she's a warm and wonderful person with a heart for animals and nature, and to me, that's all-important. To top it all off, she's got a great sense of humor -- for example, Jolie truly knows how to frame a composition of an old man on a beach (tee hee, hilarious photo, that one!) -- and she makes a Herculean effort to comment on her friends' photos. And she doesn't just post and run -- she leaves inspiring words to show she actually viewed and appreciated the artistry, and she invites people to show their work off in groups. In short, Jolie rocks!
