In Second Life, she has recreated New York City through her in-world architecture firm 'The Apple Architects.' With commercial and residential leasing options and a thriving community, New York City has become one of the most sought after destinationson the grid. It is the first fully render baked city that has ever been created and has been dubbed The Fashion Capital of SL.

In the Spring of 2013, Joi acquired the Fashion Feed of SL. She redesigned the site, transforming it into an online magazine with mobile and tablet capabilities. The joint ownership of The Fashion Capital of SL and the Fashion Feed of SL create unique marketing opportunities for SL's top designers and content creators.
