I am a new photographer experimenting with digital photography.
I just bought a Nikon D5000. I like it however I am wishing I had purchased the D90 instead. The D90 has a bigger and higher resolution LCD screen and my poor eyesight makes it difficult to tell when a photo is in focus when looking at the smaller D5000 LCD.
I also have just purchased a 50mm f1.4 lens and really enjoy using depth of field in my shots. Almost every one of my kitty photos are shot with the 50mm.
My fiance bought me a 10-24mm f3.5 lens and I have been using it for my HDR work.
I am currently using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop along with Picasa for image processing and organization.
