Photography has always interested me. A long time ago, late 70’s early 80’s I followed the UK motorcycle race scene, with a Praktica SLR I took lots of photos of the racing. Family life took over I swapped the bike for 3 children and photography took a back seat. I renewed my interest in 2004 with a Sony power shot a40 and got a Fuji bridge camera in 2008 followed by a better Olympus bridge camera. I was hooked again and got a Nikon D3200 in 2015, I added some prime lenses over the next year then upgraded to D7200 in 2017. I now have a selection on Nikon Prime lenses, a couple Sigma telephoto lenses, an Opteka fisheye and a Lensbaby Burnside 35mm.

My aim now is to get out as much as possible and take photographs. I’m using Flickr to help develop my skill, any feedback good or negative would be greatly received it is all part of the learning process. I live in Liverpool and am a proud Scouser and a keen Liverpool FC fan. My goto destination outside of Liverpool is Scotland and I try to get north of the border as often as I can. I feel I am still finding my way in photography and yet to settle on my own style and theme so will photograph anything I find interesting at the moment. I find flickr a great source of inspiration and enjoyment, I enjoy viewing other peoples photos and have learned lots in the process. Hopefully you will like the odd shot I post.
