I love to build and sail these model sailboats. My background is in fine art, and gradually over the years my boats have become my central form of artisitc expression. I make them from scratch and they have radio control for the rudder and the sails. The wind makes them go like a real sailboat. I've been attempting to capture their movements with photography which turns out to be the prefect medium do do that. For years I was making pictures that were in-directly related to boats but now I think I like to go directly to the point and make pictures of boats
