I live between the Forest of Dean and the Severn Estuary in NW Gloucestershire and I enjoy all aspects of photography.

From the observation of the minutiae to the reflection of light, to unusual subjects and perspectives as well as finding beauty in the downright mundane.

For me, great photography is comprised of three elements:

- the opportunity to capture unique & interesting images

- having access to appropriate equipment (out there in abundance)

- the application of skills & knowledge, I still have a long way to go

I strive to be technically proficient and to find the inspiration to find creativity and an artistic slant. Best of all, photography is a life-long learning exercise.
