Old in age but not in outlook, there's life left in me that I want to enjoy. Found a new interest to occupy my time now I've retired so I've plenty of time. I'm a hobbyist photographer, I just see it, if I like it I take it, I have no fancy technical equipment although I think I will now read the manual.

Recently started volunteer crewing on the John Bunyan community boat that does cruises up & down the River Ouse at Bedford. I get to ride for free but have to work my passage.

I have an avid interest., no perhaps it's an obsession, with genealogy... self taught, knowledge gained by experience over the last 10 years, I've a passion for wandering around churchyards reading inscriptions. They are an unspoilt oasis in a ever-changing environment...
