Photography is my new love!

I have loved taken pictures and looking at other peoples photographs for years and decided to take the plunge myself and buy a DSLR (nikon D5000) in october 2009.

Most of everything to do with photography in the 21st century is a steep learning curve and the computer part is that for me as the post production stuff i.e. RAW converting editing and the power of the programs aren't confusing just extremely deep and something i have never had to tackle before.

It would be really useful to me if you think i can improve my pictures either in composition and especially on the computer. Please do leave constructive critisim to help a extreme newbie on his way.

I listen to the rolling stones alot.

UPDATE:- 12/2010 .. I am starting to master taken pictures i think and looking at everything differently. I have also started to learn the digital darkroom side of things and becoming a little more creative. It takes up a lot of time processing all these photos. but i will be re editing al the photos i have taken in the last year and re displaying them hopefully better.
