I am over 50 years old, gay, and a nice guy (when I'm not thinking about becoming a serial killer)! I have created a website listed below (Whistling Reaper), and it tells all about me and my many diverse interests. Check it out, you will enjoy it!

Having been born and raised in Los Angeles and Orange County, I grew up hanging around Hollywood. I love the magic of the Golden Era of films.

I even have some personal stories from my Dad (who worked with his Dad and brother at Universal Studios) and my Mom (who loves to relate the story of the day that Clark Gable came to eat at the restaurant in the lobby of the office building she worked in) during the days they worked, lived and fell in love in 1940s Hollywood.

I have my own stories of stars and celebrities I have seen while shopping, dining or seeing a show in Hollywood and Los Angeles over the last five decades! A few that stand out in my memory are Mickey Rooney, Debbie Reynolds, Lucille Ball, Elizabeth Taylor, Vincent Price and Charlton Heston. My mom reminds that at Halloween we used to 'trick or treat' to Bob Hope's and Lou Costello's homes near ours in Toluca Lake! Those were the days when you could walk right up to their doors and ring the doorbell.

I am a "monster kid", too, having fallen in love as a young boy with the classic horror and sci-fi films of the '30s, '40s, and '50s. You may want check out my companion horror movie-themed photostream at:
