I am a 38 year old (year 2011) married and have two children. I live in Derbyshire, middle England.

I am not a photographer, i just like to take interesting photos.

I have not studied photography or art, it is just something i enjoy, and wanted somewhere to store my photos online. I don't know all about the rules of photography or how you are supposed to set out for a perfect shot. (My wife, who is a photography student, and has some awesome shots in here collection, will tell me this is wrong and that is wrong, but i just like them) where she is more technical, i make up for it by being more creative.

I took some good photos during the Gulf War, and have traveled to many places, taking photos in Kenya when i was younger with a point and shoot camera, which i really wish now had been done with something more advanced.

In the last few years i have invested in a better camera and tried to take better photos.

I enjoy underwater photography as i like to free dive in different parts of the world. The best part about underwater photography is that most people will only ever get to see what you see through a photograph.

My camera for underwater photography is nothing special, so does not do the shots justice like some of the expensive kit would. but you cant have everything can you!

I am only just getting to grips with what makes a photograph encasulating. I hope that anyone veiwing my efforts may find them interesting and welcome any comments or advise which may be forthcoming.
