I'm getting on in years, long married, and could stand to lose a few pounds. It was while sorting through hundreds of photos that were in a footlocker in the basement, some going back to the 1970s, and selecting just a relative few to scan and upload, that I realized how blessed I am. I've truly led a charmed life, full of thrilling adventure, exotic travel, wonderful friends, and more than a few narrow escapes. Looking back I realize how lucky I am. I'm not sure what I did to deserve the life I've had, but I'm not giving it back!
