I expect that John is a man of many talents. I am aware of two: exceptional photography, and a finely-honed sense of humor. One might expect that a photographer of his calibre would carry a bit of arrogance, but this self-effacing gentleman is as modest as can be. Always forthcoming with information and advice, eager to help others get the best from their equipment, taking the time to add humor to his comments, he is the best of Flickr. John has spent a ton of time on long explanations of things with me, and I'm sure he has done so with others as well. He loves to talk equipment, and particularly Nikon... and if you are in any way related to John, get a Nikon!!!!!
