"It's not the camera it's the photographer behind the camera that makes a visual work of art come alive!"

That is my goal with photography. To "paint with light" and create a work of art that inspires body, mind and soul, leaving the viewer mystifed perhaps asking more questions than providing answers for a given compostion. I am in the beginning steps of this journey, exploring ways that I can develop that "photographer's eye" and unleash my creative side.

 

I am constantly seeking wisdom, knowledge and advice since the passage in this journery will require all three. I am actively enrolled in courses at the NY Instititute of Photography and my camera and I have become inseperable best friends.

  

Currently I reside in New England and travel throughout the Northeast giving me an abundance of subjects for my photgraphic canvas. My wife of 36 years and I love to travel we have a motor home which we enjoy during the spring and summer months. Our favorite summer place is the Outer Banks off the coast of North Carolina. Late last fall we took a trip to our first Carribean Island and fell in love with Aruba - One Happy Island. So it has become our great fall/winter getaway place.

 

With all of this visual stimuli I have more than enough subject matter to "paint with light". Thank you for visiting my gallery and joining my journey.
