I'm American. I am an illustrator, graphic designer, web designer/programmer, artist, photographer, videographer (and have held way too many jobs to list here). One interesting tidbit. I worked for Lowe Alpine Systems / Lowe Pro in the early '80's. Greg, Jeff and Mike Lowe were friends and hired me to illustrate their Lowe Technical Manuals. I also made packs there ... and was the sewing machine repairman!

I have been a freelance illustrator for many years. Some notable clients include Rock & Ice magazine, Climbing, NOLS, LOWE ALIPINE SYSTEMS/LOWE PRO, GLOBE PEQUOT PRESS, FACTS ON FILE [more]. I was the Art Director for Climbing Magazine for many years.

I learned to rock climb when I was 14. That activity started in Missouri of all places. Being in the Navy at 17 I was able to travel and climb across the USA and in Europe. I moved to Boulder CO in 1981 and then on to San Diego CA, Flagstaff AZ, South Rim Grand Canyon, Grand Teton National Park and own a home in Carbondale Colorado.

I have enjoyed many outdoor sports over the years beyond climbing. Snowboarding, fly fishing, mountain biking, disc golf [PDGA Pro Player] and much more.

Today, my wife and I are living in California near Yosemite [where she works].

I am not a professional photographer. Please support my hobby if you like my photos or find use for them. I am saving money for a new lens and could really use your help. Thanks!
