John is a very talented photographer who is always very happy to share his vast knowledge, he is an inspiration to us all and is very supportive, John is also great at giving feedback to the many photographers on flickr helping them with their photography and encouraging them to do more and at the same time improving the flickr community. John is an excellent friend and has taught me very much away from flickr and on flickr, if I did not know John I would have never picked up a camera and started this amazing hobby. As well as my self I am sure many of the people on flickr cannot look forward enough to seeing more of Johns wonderful photographs. Keep up the excellent work John we cannot wait to see more. Harry

I've had the pleasure to get to know John through his photos and his kind comments on my photostream here on Flickr. John is truly a class act - he is always willing to comment on other people's photos and his comments are always full of good spirit and cheer. John is a talented photographer - one look through his photos will confirm that fact. But what you might not "see" is how his presence on Flickr makes everyone's experience better because of his willingness to give back to the community. I am so very glad to be able to now call him a friend because of Flickr.
