A lifelong transport enthusiast - my first love was/is the railways of the UK. But now my hobby is much, much more - all/any kind of transport from anywhere in the world.

I was a youngster when steam engines were still commonplace in the UK and my passion continued through adulthood as they were progressively replaced by diesel and electric traction.

My wife, Jenny, and I embarked on our joint world of adventure in 2012. This site reflects my interest in transport. Our other passion(s), travelling the world and enjoying its sights and wildlife, is a photographic 'work in progress'... and can be found on my other flickr site - 2jsworldofadventure.....
