I’ve always been someone who needs to see what’s over the next hill or around the next bend and after I get there, I want to see what’s after that. Whether is by backpack, bicycle, boat, bus, or….. you get the point, I love seeing new places.

While travel and adventure have always been part of my life, the time for them has usually been squeezed between the commitments of work and life. When I entered my forth decade I decided to make a change. I resigned from my job, pared down my possessions, and joined the voluntary homeless population. Since then I’ve been traveling around by bicycle, packraft, 4-wheel drive, and feet, photographing the beautiful places I see along the way.
