I am a Chef who has always had an interest in photography from my early teens but the cost of developing film put me off

I still have the old Praktica in the cupboard , it was a $400 camera in the early seventies

I bought a 4mp Olympus in 2003 but I found it so very slow and it usually missed the moment

I borrowed a friends Canon 350D several times early 2008 and I was happy with the cameras speed and results

So after saving for a year I bought a Canon 40D and a 24-105 in october 2009 and started my apprenticeship

Several cameras and lenses later

Spending time in Flickr has helped inspire me

I have looked up to many others and seen the standard constantly rise

If you look back through my images you will see where I have come from

I am very interested in any feedback from other photographers

My photography is a great excuse to get out there at unusual times in remote and popular locations to capture some special mood and experience to share with the World

The creative art of post processing is something I continue to learn and refine and understand more as time passes

It has unveiled an artistic creativity in me that wasn`t discovered for nearly 50 years

I try to bring out the WOW factor in my images and get in touch with your emotions as you view my images

I try not to produce the same images as everyone else but it can`t always be avoided

This is part of my passion for night photography and to share my experiences out there under the stars or in the moonlight and hopefully inspire others to experience some nightlife

I like to capture the whole scene I see in front of me so I have done a few stitches in my day

So often I look at other`s images and I want to see the rest of the scene
