I'm 29, a web designer living in Leigh on Sea, in Essex UK.

I've always loved taking photos but was never happy with the limited control of a compact camera and always wanted a SLR. Eventually I splashed out on a SLR in November 2006 but it wasn't until I joined flickr in November 2007 that I moved up from taking snap shots and tried to be a bit more creative with my photos!

Being based in Essex, that’s where most of my photos are taken - especially my home town of Leigh-on-Sea. My favourite subjects are low light landscapes - especially coastal areas. I also love boats and aircraft.
