Hi! I’m John and I love the outdoors and photographing nature. In particular, I enjoy creating images of wildlife, and when the creatures are not cooperating, I try capturing their environment and the places I visit. I’m Australian, and have had the pleasure of living in several countries in the Asia/Oceania region such as Papua New Guinea, Japan, South Korea, Hong Kong and Thailand. I have also visited most other countries in the region. I currently live in Nagasaki, Japan, however I often travel to Australia and Thailand for photography as well as R&R! My images have been published in bird field guides, travel guides, books, newspaper articles and even museum exhibitions! I am also a regular contributor to the wildlife photography blog Focusing on Wildlife, with the aim of raising awareness of the beauty and fragility of our natural world.
