I have enjoyed photography for over 40 years. Enthusiastic hiker of the Rocky Mountains of Alberta. I have lived in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada since 1968. The climate in Edmonton is cold-continental. This means there is no large body of water nearby to moderate the seasons. Summers have long days and warn but dry conditions. Winter is also dry, but cold. Temperatures stay below freezing for about 5 months. Edmonton is one of Canada's coldest cites and has a population of about 1 million people.
