I am a retired Building Services Design Consultant with an interest in Photography. I started in the 1960's with a manual SLR and did my own B&W processing. Digital photography came as a revelation as it gives much more control of the pictures taken, particularly in the subsequent editing. I bought my first SLR in 1965. It was a Yashica J and from that I progressed to an OM1 (beautiful camera) and an OM2. I then went to a Canon EOS5 film camera, then a 10D digital. I now use a 6D and a 7D for 'proper' photography and a 650D for Hols etc.
