OK, lets start back in the seventies. I watched my father in the darkroom, lent his camera and later on I inherited it. Many years later I got my self a Nikon F510 and then a Nikon F3 and then a Yashica mat 124G. Then, after meny years without using a single camera I bought a Nikon D70, sold all my old gear and went digital. Later on I sold the D70 and got myself a D80. Now I am waitung for D300 since I skipped D200.
My ongoing project is reducing the amount of lenses in my bag. I have an idea that will force mwe to be more creative. So today my camera bag contains of a Nikon D80 (planning to buy D300), Nikon 17-55mm, Nikon 85mm f1.4 and Sigma EX 150mm. I also have a SB-800 and some old extra flash guns. I might exchange my Sigma 150mm for a Nikon 105mm VR next spring since I find that focal length to suite me better BUT the Sigma is just soo superb and 150mm is nice to have sometimes.
Too bad I dont have all the time I would like to spend on photography since I am in the end of writing my dissertation in political science.
