But if you want to keep reading... I'm a blogger and community advocate, organizer and promoter. I recently left my position at nGen Works, a Jacksonville web development company, to pursue a career focused on both online and offline community. My experience growing my own online community, Urban Jacksonville, over the past three years has shown me I am truly passionate about helping, communicating, interacting and informing people.

While at nGen Works my specialties were standards compliant XHTML and CSS, PHP, ExpressionEngine content management implementation and customization and e-commerce.

When I was not working on my interactive skills I was improving my community management and development skills. In building Urban Jacksonville into one of the most well know and respected local media resources in Jacksonville, I picked up a few skills along the way. Event planning and promotion, dealing with the print and television media, speaking at conferences, managing different online and offline communication channels and just a few.

My goals are to continue to improve the City of Jacksonville through blogging, organizing community events, reaching out to city leaders and being more involved in local and neighborhood politics.
