Photography and visual arts have been part of his life since his teenage days, but it was not until his late twenties that he discovered his passion for exploring and travelling. Landscape photography turned into his main creative outlet and provided a perfect escape from everyday life. Each of his travels took him further into the wild, and with it further away from the distractions of modern society. Separation and absence of comforts soon became the ultimate means to fuel his creativity and establish a deep emotional connection with his subject: nature in its purest forms.

Joerg was born in 1982. He lives in Vienna together with his wife and son.
