A life-long artist, I drew comic strips at an early age and read college-level paleontological text books as a grade-schooler. In 2003 I applied to the Xeric Foundation, which awards aspiring comic book artists and writers money to print and publish their first comic. The 144-page Western/Horror graphic novel Along The Canadian was the result. Since then I've continued writing comics, illustrating text books, and recently animated a dinosaur-themed iPhone application. World-wide fame is elusive, but quality of life is not.
