After working for years in dead-end jobs, I decided to get my butt in gear and get back in school. I am currently a fulltime student working on a degree in history, with a focus on the SW United States. I'm also interested in archaeology, anthropology, and journalism.

I like to wander the state of New Mexico. I write about some of my wanderings on my website: sites.google.com/site/nmdaytripper02/home My sense of humor creeps into the articles, bad jokes and all. I am interested in history, New Mexico, and many, many other things (short attention span, perhaps?). I like music, off-road driving (no mullets or monster trucks mind you, just the occasional visit to places that not everyone gets to go), hiking, local business, music, art of all types, laughing, and bad jokes (many will testify to that last one). I generally prefer the company of a few to the company of many. I like to eat; I like to cook. I excel at putting my foot in my mouth.
