Writer, photographer and RedBikeGuy .

I'm the person who mocked the fascists on the National Mall. I love Washington, DC, and after the events of January 6, no way was I going to let another right-wing group have the streets of the city without being confronted. I felt it was my duty to protect my city.

I'm a street photographer. My subject is city life. I like to wander Washington and take photos of bikes, beer, protests and the arts.

While I'm best known for my photos in the Washington Post's Capital Weather Gang, my work has also appeared in the Atlantic, Southern Living, Utne, Momentum, the Washington City Paper, DCist, We Love DC, Greater Greater Washington and elsewhere. An avid cyclist, I'm drawn toward photos of people biking in the city.
