I've been involved in all the arts essentially my entire life, starting from the time I was five years old and saw the ruins of Pompeii and the plaster casts of its citizens that were trapped in the volcanic ash of Vesuvius when it erupted in 79 A.D. That same day, after I arrived home, I was inspired to recreate those casualties with modeling clay that my parents had previously bought for me. Today, I engage in street photography-- this time, though, recording the living! I've been involved with photography on and off since I was about 12 years old. Today, it is my passion.

Being a photographer in Asheville, NC has opened up new possibilities of seeing the world. I hope to further develop this inspiration.
