I grew up in a family of photographers and didn't want to be one...I wanted to do something different which I did spending many years running all kinds of retail businesses for other people. It wasn't until I picked up a camera and have not put it down since!

I have owned my own gallery in Provincetown MA for several years, which I gave up when I moved to the Mojave desert in 2003. I have since relocated back to New England, to Augusta Maine. I am looking forward to having a whole new area to explore and photograph!

My work has been on magazine covers as well as the centerfold of Cape Cod magazine 5 times...and many other publications. I have sold my images to people all over the world. It's kind of neat to think of my framed image hanging on someones wall in China, Japan, Germany, etc..:-)

I joined Flickr at the urging of a couple of my friends, and am really enjoying it...it can be addictive :-) I do try and fit photo shoots, Photoshop and traveling in between !

jodice is a pixel painter, a poet of new technologies. She changes photography in something else, a new kind of art, magic and modern. She is inventing other ways for our visual perceptions, always searching other possibilities for our dreams. Have a look at her photostream : you will see the future through her eyes.

I've known Jill since 2000. She has reliably produced excellent work since long before I knew her. Her style is one of absolute excellence. Jill never settles for producing a mediocre image. I have also have had the privilege of working with her at a gallery where her work was hung. Her work flew out the door, it was wildly popular. If you are a gallery owner considering hanging Jill's work DO IT. Her images will make you a ton of money.

The first thing that you probably notice when browsing through Jill's photostream is the rich, vibrant colors that just seem to jump at you. Bold, primary colors, rich earth tones, colors that are warm or give you a good feeling! The next thing that you notice is how full of life her photographs actually are. You see soft, colorful flowers, beautiful landscapes, buildings that are unique and have a personality of their own, old vehicles in a field that don't look like the next vehicle, but look one of a kind... which is also a good way to describe all of her photos... one of a kind. Her photos are always uplifting in some way. What you notice next isn't on her photostream, but in the way she replies to your posts. She always has something positive to say, and treats you like an old friend. You just have a feeling that if you were to meet her in person she would probably be one of those people who is always happy and full of life. Now... go back and look through Jill's photos and think about your first impression. Aren't those colors enough to brighten your day?

I think I've found my biological twin! If not I'll adopt Jill. I think I know her already.......somewhere in time, passing on the road, or in the desert, maybe next to a Motel sign in the great Southwest or a rusty truck in the fields of Kansas. Yep, I found her all right! I've never had a twin either!

Jill, Has a great eye for the unusual, she can pick out an interesting element from a mundane scene. Her personality comes through in her photos and she does a great job of documenting her surroundings. Besides all of this she is a terrific person -- Bob
