First of all, I wish to express my sincere thanks to all the photographers for sharing your outstanding and very inspiring images, this is such a wonderful community.
I've always loved the arts and photography. I first became interested in photography quite simply because I wanted to take snapshots of my holidays, as I love travelling whenever I can, and seeing all the famous sites as well as those 'off the beaten path' places. I particularly love the charming towns and villages of Europe.
Recently, since I've now acquired a better camera, I've become interested in learning more about techniques, the art of 'photoshop' and textures, and restoring old photographs.
MY GALLERIES
My photos are one thing, but I'm also a collector. I really enjoy curating galleries on Flickr, as I find it a great way to express my interests and favourite themes, and to collect and archive the things I love most. There are so many varied and interesting themes and so many beautiful images captured by the best photographers in the world.
I do recommend viewing some galleries and taking a closer look at the photographers' photostreams. Some brilliant work there!

Jocelyn has a fantastic photostream with a very personal touch that separates it from others. I am sorry that Flickr changed its format and I can no longer comment and favorite my contacts' photos as comfortably as I used to do, otherwise I'd spend more time doing so on this great stream. Keep up the good work!
