I started painting over 30 years ago and began with natural history and botanical studies in watercolour. Have spread my wings into so many different media that I find it hard to know which to use for my many subjects. On my blog and now flickr account you will find watercolour, acrylic, oil, pen & wash and, through my delightful artist pal Anita Davies got myself into sketchbooks. I am a member of a number of art groups working and exhibiting together throughout East Anglia and have this summer retired from teaching regular groups and workshops. Oh yes, this year I created a journal on ten years in the life of a painter on Blurb showing my floral both botanical and decorative, impressionist gardens, landscape and interior church scenes. Well, that's me in a nutshell - a painter with bags of enthusiasm and joy when painting or sketching with friends.
