I've always loved taking photos but never really grasped the technical side of it. Having recently bought my first dSLR am going to enjoy learning how to drive it. Since joining Flickr have already touched base with people in Illinois and Singapore, what a great forum to share our passion for photography!

Sorry to the purists (SOOC devotees) out there but I believe minor enhancements and subtle manipulation are part of the creative process in making the artwork. Individual interpretation of subject and story is what makes a photo unique.
