I've traded in my old Canon Rebel 35mm film camera for a Nikon D50 and my photography hobby (or has it become an obsession??) has kicked into high gear. I soon purchased the 50mm/1.8 that continues to be my favorite lens. I am so inspired by what I see on FlickR and am eager to learn more. My main subjects are my boys and new daughter, nephew, and niece. I don't know what this could someday develop into, but I'm having fun learning and capturing all these wonderful moments in time!

**Update March '09: I've traded up again! Nikon D90 (love it!), Tamron 90mm/2.8, ProMaster 17-50mm/2.8, Nikon SB600. I've done my first official photo session and have more in the works. I'm very excited and honored for people to ask me to do their portraits.
