California is a place of wondrous contrasts all piling up: competing and coexisting and mingling with each other. The mountains and the sea, the forest and the desert, urban sprawl and secluded nature all almost within a stone’s throw of each other. California is in my blood and in my images. I love to explore and seek out the special places where subject and light and timing all coalesce into a perfect moment of time to steal and freeze forever.

I am happiest behind the lens, it brings a concentration and focus of energy and purpose that is sometimes otherwise absent. I love to find the color, tone, and form in my subjects and bring out the essence that I see.

Growing up in the car culture of Southern California I have a particular love for everything automotive, but I enjoy shooting almost any subject. While I have lived here all my life, I love to travel and explore new places and I look forward to showing you more.
