I am a retired guy now who was desperate to become an artist, yet studied PG Science, then moved on to advertising, finally crossing over to Information Technology, and now managing internal communication for a Bank. I derive lot of pleasure out of small things in life, things around me. Like small wildflower near my terrace, or watching s juvenile crow trying to learn tricks or a kittens adventuring into things unknown...

I love creativity... pictures, drawings, paintings are my source of essence of life

For a long time, I resisted my temptations to go digital but eventually, I did acquire one. This was purely in line with my increased number of road trips out of Chennai and Films just couldn’t match my requirement. Still, I don't do rampant shots. I do planned ones as if I am using a film camera :)

My vintage Yashika got a splash at Pondicherry beach and its shutter got jammed !!! Couldn’t find anyone in Chennai to fix it :o( So I had to go for a digital camera Canon Powershot 450. Simple stuff ... Then I moved to Sony Cybershot210. This was purchased at Bangalore when I realized that Canon Powershot has knocked off !! Cybershot by Sony is a good camera and I took many wonderful shots using that. Finally came my Canon DSLR 550 with a 58mm and 300mm lens. Still, I am learning how to use this advanced stuff.

Please take a moment to leave a comment to inspire me or criticize me :) I will feel good.

About my creativity, I refuse to allow that "plastic" or "Synthetic" feel which normally creeps in if you use the computer for art ! I want & do my best, so that my works look "Natural" and not "Digital" therefore, I do not encourage people to see my works on a computer monitor. I take canvas prints and display them. It's an expensive POV.
