JMK, can bring out the birder in anyone.She can spot things hidden all around us in the trees, things that if I had not been with her, would have passed right by......and missed out on. Her enthusiasm is catchy , I can honestly say it is her love for the birds and her knowledge about them, that has brought out my love for them. If you asked me just a short few years ago about birding, I would have said a bird is just a bird. Now I like our outings and friendly banter over what we have seen (which she is right about most of the time) Her images also show her love for the outdoors and its creatures and the patience it takes to capture them. She is a great guide, photographer and friend. I love that our Starling images are side by side on the Cornell Lab site, it just seems fitting :)
