I am a an amateur photographer who started enjoying photography in the film era (mostly with a manual focus SLR), even developing film and black and white prints. Now I use a variety of digital cameras. I was born and raised in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, residing in Escanaba for the last 3 decades. My leisure time is short, but recording interesting images allows me to recycle good memories with pleasure. I am most at home in the woods and waters of Upper Michigan, but I do enjoy occasional travel to cities and various natural areas.
