Wow! 10 years since I updated this!!! Since 2015, I've retired from tech and moved from the SF Bay Area to Kiawah Island, SC. Now shooting with a Sony A7R4 & multiple lenses and starting to get back into posting online.

March 2015 - moving to the Sony a7S - mirrorless. Extremely happy with the quality of the shots and LOVE the low light, high(er) ISO with little to NO NOISE!

Dec 2010 - now shooting with the Nikon D7000 & new 28-300 lens. Let the fun begin . . .

As of Dec. 2007, I was shooting in the SF Bay area with a Nikon D300. I still love the Panasonic, but the noise in low light was an issue, and I didn't see anything from Panasonic that indicated they were going to fix that issue any time soon.

Formerly using a Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ50. I think it's a fabulous camera.

Also now shooting in RAW with the D300, so having to learn Lightroom and Camera Raw as well as the new camera. So - more time in front of the computer, hopefully doesn't translate into less time shooting.
