MAKE! Chicago is a community workshop and maker space located in the heart of Bridgeport. We offer affordable access to our workshop space and equipment to further the needs of the arts community of Chicago.

 

Our shop includes facilities for woodworking, metalworking, sculpture, finishing, and more.

 

Chicago boasts a community of thousands of brilliant, creative, talented artisans. This group is certainly meant to serve as a forum to disseminate information, updates, special events, and the like for the MAKE! Space. But I would also like it to become a place where artists share photos of their work, seek collaborations, advertise services, offer classes, post jobs / gigs / commissions, brag, list studio / shop space, and a general forum for all things great and annoying about being a creative individual in this region.

 

While I am gearing this towards the woodworking / metal fabrication / furniture maker end of the creative spectrum, I would like this to be a space where all kinds of creative souls can find community. Whatever your craft or trade, you are welcome here!

 

And, by ALL means, share this with your fellow creative people and help me to grow this into a space for real community development.

  

Rates:

 

$45 / day - Open Shop Time is hosted every other Sunday from 10 - 6

 

$150 / month - Membership with 24 / 7 access

 

Class and workshop fees vary by class type
