I'm a New Orleans native, former photographer and editor for the New York Times Company. I am a Nikon Professional Services member and a National Press Photographers Association member.

Although I no longer shoot professionally full time, I still manage to work every once in a while. I use exclusively Nikon equipment.

Licensing rights for print, broadcast, and online usage are avialable for most of my work. Model and/or Property releases are also available for much of my work. Please contact me for details and a copy of my EULA for digital image licensing.

My general, run-of-the-mill setup for a model shoot includes:

- Nikon D90 bodies

- Nikkor 18-200mm f3.5-5.6 VR (general purpose) lens

- Nikkor F1.4 50mm lens

- Nikkor f2.0 110mm lens

- Two to four Nikon SB-800 strobes. (Since I always shoot in the field, where portability is a factor, I prefer to light using the Nikon Creative Lighting System)

- Two Manfroto 190XPROB Tripods with unbrella and flash mounts or Manfroto 482 Photo heads

- Two generic white flash umbrellas

- 36 inch four-way (black, white, silver, gold) folding reflector

- Cokin Creative System P-Series filters (about a dozen different filters that come in handy)

- Wolverine 120GB battery operated photo dump drive.

Yes, this is a lot of stuff and it's hard to carry it all around.

I do in-house printing on an Epson R1900 on Epson ultra premium photo stock with matched ICC profiles using Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop CS4.
