I have a bachelors degree in Journalism yet I am a stay-at-home mom of two boys who are just as stubborn as their Daddy.

I grew up with my father always taking pictures, tinkering in dark rooms, & looking at film with his little magnifying glass, though I never really took interest until my senior year in college.

I decided to take an adventure to England one summer with many other deranged writers and, sure enough, the crazy photographers were right behind us. By the end of the trip they had brain-washed me into a shutterbug. Not too suprising since my feet were like prunes from soaking in the waters of my past exposure to still images.

So, here I am...learning. I took one basic photography course in college right before I graduated. I learn from my father, from the internet and books, but I also learn much from the other photographers in this community.

If there are ever delays in postings, that is just because either I am so busy or my one of my sons has brought some kind of virus home that takes us out for a week. Otherwise, I am an addict! :)
